What does that even mean?!”Pistorius was expected to be freed on correctional supervision on the 21st of August. However‚ Justice and Correctional Services Minister Michael Masutha referred the decision to release him for review by the parole board‚ after discovering the convicted killer had been considered for parole just six months into his five-year jail sentence‚ instead of after 10 months as the law requires.Today‚ the review board declined to free Pistorius. It is not yet clear as yet when the parole board would again decide on the Paralympian’s case.Meanwhile‚ the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein will hear the state’s appeal against Pistorius's culpable homicide conviction on November 3.
