An HIV positive man in Harare, Zimbabwe, forces his wife to have unprotected sex with him because he is allegedly allergic to condoms.

The wife is also HIV positive.

According to Swaziland's Observe Online, Esther Chingondo approached the Civil Court seeking a protection order against her husband.

“He forces me to have unprotected sex with him every time despite the warning we were given by medical practitioners that we should always have protected sex,” she said.

“Whenever I refuse to have unprotected sex with him he takes a scissors and cuts my undergarment and forces me to sleep with him.
