McGregor a model mom
Former pin-up girl Kerry McGregor has had her share of playing mom and wife roles. Now she's ready to get back to her modelling career.
The 29-year-old recently returned from living in England, where her husband, Neil McKenzie, was playing county cricket.
McGregor says she's "ready to get back into the modelling scene after a three-year break". She will not, however, be doing swimwear and lingerie shoots.
"I feel like it is time for me to get back out there. I've had two children - it's time I got my independence back and started work again."
McGregor, who started modelling at 15 and went to Paris at 16 after being spotted by a French scout, has worked in Europe and the US, and made it onto the cover of SA Sports Illustrated in 2000.
Since then she has graced local and international magazine covers.
She was also the face of Wonderbra for five years and was voted FHM's number one in their Sexiest Top 100.
She wed McKenzie in 2007, and is now mother to three-year-old Luke and 11-month-old Riley.
"People ask if I can handle being a model and a mom, and I say 'why not'. I have a fantastic support system that helps me with the children.
"I embraced pregnancy all the way. I did what I had to do so my children would be healthy. I did gain weight, but I wasn't fat.
"Now I'm working my butt off at the gym every day to get back into my clothes, but definitely not for lingerie and swimwear shoots," she said.
