After opening the doors of their Malibu, California, home for an intimate family photoshoot, Hollywood power-couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have reportedly called time on their marriage.

US magazine In Touch Weekly reports that the 13-year marriage of the couple - who together earned R2.4-billion last year and have two famous children Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10 - is on the rocks.

No reasons were given for the split.

In their interview with Architectural Digest two weeks ago, there was no hint of trouble. Smith, 42, told the magazine that the mansion had been designed with no "dead ends . to create an infinite cycle that represented what Jada and I hoped for our love".

Pinkett-Smith, 39, added: "We're very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land.

"Whatever it becomes, the craftsmanship will always represent our union and the love of our family."

Smith divorced his first wife, fashion design student Sheree Zampino, in 1995 after three years of marriage.

After the marriage ended Smith met Jada Pinkett who auditioned, but was rejected for, the role of his girlfriend on TV sitcom The Fresh Prince. The two married in 1997.
