Controversial queen of Twitter Nonhle Thema has set her sights on TV presenter Minnie Dlamini after her assault at a nightclub.

Thema posted several tweets questioning whether Dlamini was really a "victim" during the incident at a Rosebank, Johannesburg nightclub.

Dlamini, 21, apparently suffered various injuries, including a "blue eye", during a commotion on August 12.

On Friday night Thema, 29, wrote: "Can we all just LOL [laugh out loud] at the celeb girl who got a beat down and a smack down in public after drinking vodka."

She went on to speculate about Dlamini's drinking habits. Dlamini yesterday declined to comment.

Thema has lashed out at what she bills "newbie" celebs on her T witter page for months.

She told the Sunday Times they were jealous of her.

"They are worried about the millions I am making. Wait 'til I make billions, then they'll die. I am an inspiration, to show young girls that you can be a rich girl at my age. What is wrong with that?"

The former reality TV show producer said she had taken time off to build her "empire" which, she said, included a soon-to-be-released fragrance, merchandise and an online presence.

She was once the face of Dark and Lovely hair-care products, and had a reality TV show, Nonhle Goes to Hollywood .

Thema, who has almost 75000 followers on Twitter, said she was "probably the biggest celebrity in South Africa right now" .

In an earlier series of tweets she criticised YFM DJs Bonang Matheba and Dineo Ranaka.

Thema said YFM DJs "are all broke, they can't pay their rent" while she had, she said, enough cash to buy the station.

On Thursday she tweeted: "Until a TV host has MILLIONS an has lived in America for 7 years an has been on TV ads in America an the rest of the world, u cant compare [them to] me."

Although she told Drum magazine that she "dreams" of owning a Bentley, Thema, who lives in the affluent suburb of Dainfern in northern Johannesburg, drives a 3l 2009 Saab.

Matheba opted to stay out of the Twitter feud, but Ranaka fought back: "I was saying: Hang on a second. If you want to address their issues let's also address issues of ... the truth about how you make your money."

Ranaka added: "I am hoping that this is the last interview I am doing around the Nonhle saga. She is getting a lot of leverage on my name."
