Lady Gaga now 'Queen of Twitter'

Britain's The Sun reported on its website yesterday that the Born This Way star reached the landmark at the weekend, easily eclipsing Justin Bieber, her closest rival, who is 2 million behind.

Gaga, who boasted that she was the ''Queen of Twitter", after her Twitter following eclipsed that of Britney Spears in 2010, regularly keeps her fans updated with remarkably frank tweets, using the profile Mother Monster.

''Screw it, I had too much wine," Gaga confessed last month when messed up by prematurely revealing the artwork for her "Born This Way Ball Tour".

One of her most famous tweets was: ''Peace. Love. Disco. Gaga."

Gaga, who insists that she posts all her tweets herself, opened her Twitter account in 2008, and also uses it to share original photographs and tour dates with her fans.

According to The Sun, musicians hog the top five spots on Twitter.
