White Mountain Festival 2012

Times LIVE | 27 June, 2012 13:02

The annual White Mountain Music Festival is back.

Now in its seventh year, the festival is held at White Mountain Lodge near Giant’s Castle in the Central Drakensberg..

Known for its intimate, relaxed atmosphere, plentiful amenities and idyllic setting, it offers acoustic performances by some of the country’s top artists, as well as arts and crafts, assorted food stalls, a beer market and loads of fun outdoor activities for the whole family.

In previous years, the festival has drawn the old school Splashy Fen crowds and the festival lovers looking for something far more chilled than most. It’s a weekend of relaxation, music and awesomeness.

Some of the confirmed artists are Lilly Million, The Nomadic Orchestra, Shomon and Andrew James.

The tickets include camping for the entire festival.

Dates: September 21 to 24
Venue: White Mountain Lodge, Drakensberg
Tickets: Early bird R450, thereafter R550 from Computicket
