Tia Mowry is taking major offense to comments that her baby is ugly, according to reports.

Appearing on Live From E!, the Tia & Tamera star blasted online critics who have written what she said were "disgusting" comments about her 1-year-old son, Cree Taylor Hardrict, online.

"I really don't understand why people feel the need to belittle a child, someone who doesn't even have a voice yet to express themselves," said Mowry. "I just think it's disgusting, disgusting that we live in a society that focuses on looks," reported eonline.com.

The 34-year-old actress and her hubby Cory Hardrict welcomed Cree Taylor Hardrict on June 28, 2011. It's the first bundle of joy for the couple, and Mowry is so proud she put a slew of pictures of her baby online along with life-affirming messages.

But some critics thought the pictures of Cree were less than flattering, and wrote some pretty mean things on various websites poking fun at his looks.
