Adam Lambert to perform in South Africa in November

Adam Lambert will be touring South Africa for the first time this November, with performances in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

The perfomances are scheduled for the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on Tuesday 13 November and at the Coca-Cola Dome Johannesburg on Friday 16 November.

Lambert came to prominence following his appearance on the eighth season of American Idol. He launched a successful music career with the release of his first studio album ‘For Your Entertainment’ which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. The album achieved international success with its singles "For Your Entertainment", "Whataya Want from Me" and "If I Had You".

He has sold over 2 million albums and 4.2 million singles worldwide.

His latest album ’Trespassing’ entered at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart.  Lambert collaborated with an all star list of award winning artists, producers and songwriters including Pharrell Williams, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rogers, Sam Sparro, Bruno Mars, Nikka Costa and BC Jean.
