Rock the River SA is back for another New Year's bash and is just around the corner.

The festival, one of Cape Town’s New Year’s destinations, provides a crazy entertainment line-up at a convenient location close to Cape Town.

After the sell-out success of the 2011/12 festival, the team put their heads together, buckled down and managed to go above and beyond the call of duty in lining up an even more impressive range of artists and entertainers to usher in the New Year.

Early bird Rock The River SA tickets are R225 for a full weekend pass.

Rock The River SA was created out of the need for an alternative New Year’s Eve event, outside of the city, where fans could go relax and enjoy South African music in an intimate, safe and healthy environment.

With Cape Town being widely regarded as the party destination of choice for many South Africans come year’s end, the options for non-mainstream professionally run events are far and few between, Rock The River SA has corrected this imbalance in an ever expanding market.

The festival will be taking place between the December 28, 2012 to the January 1, 2013 at the Savannah Farm (Windmeul Road, Perdeberg), located 30 minutes’ drive from Cape Town(and 20 minutes’ drive from Durbanville). For the Google Map address click here.

You can view the line-up here.
