The dates of R. Kelly's 'Single Ladies Tour' in South Africa, have been moved from the initially announced dates of March 21 and 23, 2013 to the August 8 and 10, 2013.
The dates fall within the Women's Day long weekend, which also resonates with the tour title, Single Ladies Tour.
Logistics were cited as the reason behind the postponement, which organisers say would also give the singer time to prepare the best concert for his South African audience.
“No doubt, fans will be disappointed, but we will keep you updated and informed”, says Vuyokazi Mhlophe, Gagasi FM marketing manager.
Gagasi FM was the radio media sponsor for the KZN leg of the R.Kelly tour.
R. Kelly's last performance in South Africa was at Soccer City in Soweto, at the opening ceremony of the 2010 World Cup.
