The free summer series, Concerts in the Park, returns for its third season with seven concerts between November 2013 and March 2014.

Cape Town band, Hot Water, will open the musical showcase at the De Waal Park Sunday, November 17 at 4pm.

Concert Promoter and CEO, Charles-Lindsay Bowman says over the next few months audiences can expect a range of genres from rock to pop and swing to jazz thanks to Concerts in the Park’s continued partnership with the City of Cape Town, key sponsor Nando’s and media partner Smile 90.4FM.

“Since its inception in 2011, Concerts in the Park has become an iconic summer experience for thousands in Cape Town,” says Bowman.

“Seeing this relaxed Victorian park transform into a bustling arena filled with leisurely picnics and entertainment by the very best Cape Town has to offer is just wonderful & so rewarding.”

All concerts are free, open to the public who are welcome to bring along lawn chairs and blankets and advised to arrive early.
