Blink-182 guitarist confirms new album

Blink-182's has confirmed that the pop punk band is working on a new album.

Writing on Instagram, guitarist Tom Delonge revealed that the band has started rehearsals for their upcoming live dates.

The shows include a headline slot at Reading and Leeds festivals in August and that the follow-up to 2011's Neighborhoods will follow.

"Rehearsals start today," Delonge said in the caption to an image of old photos of the band.

"And yes there will be a new album. #Sorryforthewait."
