Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler is playing it coy in answering if it is indeed him playing on Slipknot’s new single.

After Slipknot’s new track The Negative One  has been on stream for a week, rumours have spread that the man behind the kit is none other than Lamb of god’s Chris Adler. Fans have been saying the track’s drums sound very close to Adler’s style.

ABC News radio asked Adler to either deny or confirm the words heard through the grapevine. However he did not give the straight up answer they were looking for.

“Right now I think silence is golden,” said Alder. “I don’t think those guys need me, or need me talking about it.”

“You know I listened to it and I thought it sounded a little bit like me, too. I’m getting texts and emails about it. But for the moment I don’t know anything about it,” he said.
