Taking place across multiple cities and countries around the world the Festival has become synonymous with peace, unity and celebration.

On Friday 1 May 2015, Johannesburg will see the return of the HOLI ONE Colour Festival, which brings together partygoers of all ages, races, cultures and personalities to experience an unforgettable festival of light, love, and, of course, colour.

Sharing the same message of hope and positivity as the Hindu holiday of Holi, this non-religious festival aims to unite thousands in an event that blends music, dance, visuals and performance art. Festivals are held around the world in every continent, including Africa, Australia, America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Partygoers dressed in white soon find themselves united through a rainbow of colours as every hour on the hour, a countdown begins, signalling the throwing of brightly coloured, eco-friendly powder that fills the air. Along with powder in five different colours, food and drinks will also be on sale, while a host of facilities will be provided to ensure that revellers are kept safe and comfortable for the duration of the festival.

This year’s line-up includes a variety of artists such as:

DJ Fresh
Mark Stent
Ricardo Da Costa
Essential Groove
Vin GrooVin
Houseshaker
Royal K
Household Funk
SauBomb
Paul Bingham
Rocca & Martini
Jade Hanna
Eugene Le Grand
Sammy Dee
Peter Booth
JC Jason La Roux

Tickets start at R250 per person for general access, with special colour packages also offered at R350 per person for general access plus five bags of powder. Tickets can be purchased via Nutickets (http://holione.nutickets.co.za/JHB2015).

Doors open at 12h00, and the celebrations will continue until 22h00. Festivalgoers are advised to wear white clothing that can withstand a bit of colour infusion).
