As Times LIVE exclusively reported on Monday, 'Generations The Legacy' has axed some actors from its cast.

Asanda Foji and Denise Zimba are two actresses who did not have their contracts renewed by Morula Pictures, the production company at the helm of Generations The Legacy.

Foji, who plays the character of Simphiwe, wife to Mazwi Moroka in the drama at first denied she was sacked. She wrote on her fan Facebook page:

People stop spreading rumors about me that I'm fired, I'm not!!!!

'Generations' publicity manager Gaaratwe Mokheti released a statement confirming Foji's exit. No reasons were given why she would not continue with the show.

Of Zimba, Mokheti said she was leaving to "pursue her own interests."

Gog Flo' played by Ivy Nkutha is not leaving the show. Mokheti said claims that she was also fired were false.
