'Generations The Legacy' loses another actor as 'Jonathan' exits

Shortly after it was announced Angela Motene, played by Lebogang Mthunzi was on her way out - her sibling in the soapie, Jonathan has followed her on the way out.

JT Medupe who bodied the character of Jonathan for less than a year, shot his last scenes with the drama this week.

According to actress Latoya Makhene who also stars on the show, Medupe will be sorely missed.

"The cast of Generations: The Legacy said our goodbyes to our very own J.T Medupe. Knowing you has been truly special. Will miss seeing you around set...but the bond we formed will continue to grow! See you later, buddy,"  she wrote on her Instagram page.

The Juice, reports Generations The Legacy PR manager, Gaaratwe Mokheti confirmed Medupe's departure.

To date, the soapie has bid farewell to Asanda Foji (Simphiwe), Lebogang Mthunzi (Angela), Denise Zimba (Mary) and Vuyo Dabula (Gadaffi).
