Currently starring on 'Mzansi Magic's 'The Road', the actress billed to host 'Our Perfect Wedding' is a relative newcomer to presenting popular shows.
Thembisa Mdoda will be at the helm of the reality show which chronicles the hectic days leading up to and including ordinary couple's wedding ceremonies.
Mdoda clinched the presenting gig and takes over from Tumi Morake, who was roped back in to replace Ayanda Mpama.
“I am ecstatic about joining OPW. I love the show and what it stands for. I love, love and I look forward to celebrating it with as many couples as I possibly can," Mdoda said in a statement.
Mdoda is an actress and can be seen on The Road from Monday to Thursday.
She was married to actor Atandwa Kani and the pair share twin sons. She is the sister to popular radio jock, Anele Mdoda.
