Timbaland to develop hip hop docuseries

Timbaland is developing a docuseries that will take cameras behind the scenes into the cutthroat business world of hip hop.

To be developed with American radio and TV personality La La Anthony, the unscripted series will revolve around Face Time Agency, the casting agency for booking music videos and hip hop fashion models, reports Variety.

Clients include Drake, Kanye West and Robin Thicke.

Timbaland will serve as executive music producer on the series, as he does for the hit TV series "Empire."

Anthony will serve as executive producer. The project will be overseen by Leftfield Pictures.
