Only fellow executive producer Dudu Zuma was credited as the producer at the start of the popular SABC1 telenovela with Pepsi Pokane also removed as the third producer, Sunday World reported.

When contacted for comment, Ndlovu referred questions to his publicist Amanda Ngudle, who confirmed to the newspaper that the Muvhango creator will fight tooth and nail if there were plans to get rid of him.

“As we speak I would be preparing to go the legal route. Remember, he is the creator and executive producer after coming up with the original story idea of two boys who were switched at birth.”

Pokane said it was nonsense that Ndlovu was being elbowed out. “He came with the original story idea, he is the creator.”

Zuma could not be reached for comment.
