Chrissy Teigen asked President Barack Obama for advice on naming her baby - because she hoped his approval would convince husband John Legend to agree with her choice. Chrissy Teigen asked President Barack Obama for advice on naming her baby. The 30-year-old model and husband John Legend will welcome their first child, a daughter, into the world in the coming months and she asked the US President to approve her first choice. She told 'Late Show' host Stephen Colbert: ''I asked Barack - we're like very first name basis. ''I asked President Obama if he liked one of our name choices and he said he did. ''I thought afterwards, I should have came up with two so he could pick one, because if you think about it, you've got to be nice about it if you give someone a name.'' And the Lip Sync Battle star admitted she had an ulterior motive for involving the president in her decision making. She said: ''I wanted to ask him because John isn't sold on the name so I figured if [the President] liked it, then John would be sold on it. He says it's too Hollywood.'' The couple's baby is due next month and the All of Me singer will be taking several months off to be with his family. Chrissy said: ''He's getting ready for his paternity leave, all summer. ''The countdown is on - we've got [until] mid April.''..
