Binnelanders apologises for on-screen genital references

Popular Afrikaans soapie Binnelanders has apologised to fans of the show‚ after visuals containing the words “power cock” and “power vagina” appeared in one of its episodes this week. Fans watching Monday night’s episode of the soapie‚ were given a glimpse of the words when two of the show’s characters‚ Naomi and Tertius‚ were shown playing an online video game using the titles as their player profile names. In a statement released on Tuesday‚ the show’s creators apologised for the “unacceptable footage” and said that the scene had slipped past the show’s production in the final compilation of the episode.“It was added at a very late stage during the compilation of the episode and the words on screen slipped past all our quality assurance processes. Not that it's an excuse – we are extremely upset that it could have happened‚" says the statement which was posted to the show’s Facebook site.The show’s creators have further assured fans that the visuals will not make an appearance on the show again.Footage of the incident has since emerged online‚ captured in a video by Centurion Rekord which has since been uploaded to Youtube...
