Rapper Reason has finally managed to get David Genaro on the set of his music video for a remix of Young Swiss’ popular single based on the Rhythm City character played by Jamie Bartlett.
This after the rapper expressed his frustration at not being able to get the seasoned actor to star in his latest music video. According to him, e.tv had halted Reason's plans to include Jamie in the video when the soapie’s bosses apparently notified him that the character belonged to them and therefore, could not be used.
However, it seems the free-to-air broadcaster has changed its mind and given Jamie the green light to make an appearance in the video.
Taking to Instagram, Reason shared behind-the-scenes snaps and clips of the music video, in which Jamie is spotted. In addition, he thanks his fans for making it possible, assuming that he is referring to Jamie starring in the video.
"Thank you South Africa!!! We couldn't have done it without you," he captioned one of the clips.
He then revealed, in another post, that he learnt a few things from the Rhythm City actor on the set of the David Genaro Remix video.
