Idris Elba stars as the overlord of the dance, donning a luxurious Cruella de Vil-esque black and white fur coat, in a new sidesplitting video for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' Dance Off - taken off the duo’s most recent album, This Unruly Mess I've Made.
The British actor appears at the beginning and at the end of the video - which has already generated a lot of buzz online - providing the song's melodramatic vocal tag.
"I challenge you to a dance off/hands off, no trash talk, no back walk/On the black top, just me, you, that's all/No cat calls, no tag teams, no mascots," says Idris.
Directed by Ryan Lewis and Jason Koenig, the cinematic clip is loaded with epic dance-floor showdowns (including a particularly impressive breakdance-meets-weights-training move) and sweaty bodies.
Macklemore also shows off his own footwork in an extended sequence alongside hotel bellhops, before a group of mall masseuses bring the clip to its ridiculous close.
It's no surprise that soon after its release overnight, the track was the fastest moving song on Twitter, according to Billboard's Trending 140 chart.
