The first official trailer for Pieter-Dirk Uys' new theatrical-action-documentary has been released.

Titled Nobody's Died Laughing, the documentary tells the life story of the larger-than artist and activist, who is also widely known as Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout.

The film, which will be available in cinemas from July 29, includes never before seen archive footage, performances and interviews with a host of famous faces, including Desmond Tutu, Charlize Theron, Lizz Meiring, Anna-Mart van der Merwe, FW De Klerk, who claims "political correctness is not part of his [Pieter's] armour,'' and Nelson Mandela, who has previously said Pieter is one of his heroes.

The documentary will be released under kykNET films and Vry Films in association with Lion’s Head Productions and Who Projects.
