Presented by Showmax and SA Events, the Afrikaans electronic band is set to play shows in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, starting from June 3.
"I’m looking forward to having some fun with our fans. They definitely don’t see live Afrikaans music often enough," said Pierre Greeff, vocalist of the band, in a press statement.
Despite being excited over their SAMA nomination this year for Best Alternative Album, Die Heuwels Fanatasties will not be able to attend the awards taking place in Durban on 4 June due to the tour.
However, they're still hoping to walk away with the award.
"It’s always amazing to get the nod from your colleagues in the industry. Just to be nominated is wonderful. We won the 'Alternatiewe Afrikaanse Album' award in 2010, but it will be great to walk away with the overall Best Alternative this year," Pierre explained.
