Watch: Arnold Schwarzenegger films elephant charging his car on safari

Legendary actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was in South Africa and filmed the moments leading up to a male elephant charging his car on safari.

Posting the video to Instagram, Schwarzenegger described the incident as "I couldn't have written this safari encounter better if it was a movie."

He is in the country for the Arnold Sports South Africa which he describes as one of the biggest multi-sport festivals.

"I'm absolutely in awe of these beautiful, strong animals, even though some of us had to change our pants after this. We need to stop killing them - take a photo, not a shot. "

In the video, he can be heard saying "Oh sh*t" as the bull makes its way to the car.
