DJ Black Coffee dedicates Sama wins to Enhle & his fam

DJ Black Coffee has dedicated his Sama awards to his mom, wife and children for believing in him and allowing him to chase his dream.

The renowned house music DJ scooped four awards at the prestigious ceremony this past weekend, which included being honoured with the International Recognition Award.

However, the musician who is currently kicking off his Summer Tour in the US and Europe was unable to attend the ceremony, but was definitely there in spirit.

In a series of emotional moments Black Coffee's mom collected the awards on his behalf.

Even though Black Coffee was not there to say his acceptance speech, he has chosen social media to thank his family, team and fans.

Black Coffee said that he was honoured to receive the recognition award and was even happier about his mom collecting it.

"She's the one who's seen everything from day one and supported it through and through....for me. She's more befitting to receive that award more than me as she never doubted my dreams but always encouraged me even when I didn't see the light and the end of the tunnel," he said.

"As a proud South African I urge our youth to understand that the future of our country is in your hands and the world is your oyster. Trust Your Dopeness," he added.

Black Coffee also dedicated the award to his 'beautiful' wife Enhle Mbali and children.

"I dedicate this Award to my beautiful wife @enhlembali and my children who allow me to continue chase my dreams. Thank you to all the Fans and to the powers be at the Samas."
