Having dropped a single, which was initially in light of Human Rights day and the fight against racism, Katlego Maboe has recently embarked on a journey to reach no less than 67 000 pre-sales of the single by July 18, ahead of Nelson Mandela Day.

Titled RACE (against time), the song was written and co-produced by the Expresso presenter, David Harmse and Ntokozo Mkhize, with vocals by Erica Appels and the Sing the Change Choir.

Having started their journey on Friday, it is hoped that they will sell 67 000 copies of the single by Nelson Mandela Day, of which full proceeds will be donated to the Anti-Racism Network South Africa (ARNSA) - in aid of the fight against racism.

The song, which aims to address racism in a positive light and in a way that would transcend all colour divides, is available for download on Katlego's Instagram profile.
