Despite being the talk of the town for the past few weeks Zahara pays little attention to the commentary surrounding her fashion sense.

Speaking to TMG Entertainment Zahara said that she has no time to entertain hate on social media.

The songstress couldn't help but chuckle when asked about what she thought about the backlash to her dress sense.

"You know I've been trending hey. To be honest I don't pay much attention to people on Twitter who hate on me,"  she said.

  •

Just two weeks ago Zahara once again topped the Twitter trends list when a topless picture of her dressed in traditional Xhosa attire, while kneeling on all fours, went viral.

Twitter users ridiculed the singer for the picture calling her all sorts of names.

"You know I use social media for work and post on special occasions like Africa Day, so for people to insult my pictures showing off my culture is unacceptable," Zahara said.

  • Zahara hits back at fashion criticsDuring an interview on Metro FM on Sunday, Zahara hit back strongly at social media fashion critics who ridiculed her topless Africa Day pictures, where she is seen kneeling on all fours.

The singer added that she does not take people's comments to heart and just laughs when she sees herself trending.

"I just laugh at the comments because some of these people are still living at home with their mothers and are doing nothing while I'm going to launch my fashion label soon."

  • Zahara comes under attack over topless Africa Day picturesTwitter users went on the rampage ridiculing Zahara's topless Africa Day pictures calling her all sorts of names on the social media platform.

Just days before the Africa Day pictures went viral Zahara came under attack by Twitter fashion police after she was seen wearing an outfit that Kim Kardashian's daughter North West was spotted wearing a while ago.
