In a statement to TMG Entertainment through his legal team, Jub Jub poured cold water on claims made during the special feature entitled Kelly Khumalo: Behind the Story.

"My instructions are that any allegations of abuse by Ms Khumalo against Mr Maarohanye are denied. Any application for a 'restraining order' will also be opposed, if such is ever launched. Ms Khumalo is obviously seeking sensation and attention," read a statement by Jub Jub's attorney Rudi Krause.

During her MTV Base tell-all interview Kelly opened up about her controversial relationship with Jub Jub, which hogged headlines before and after the musician's arrest.

Jub Jub and Themba Tshabalala were convicted of culpable homicide after crashing their cars into a group of school children in 2010 which left four dead and another two brain damaged.

Speaking about Jub Jub's arrest Kelly says she has nothing to feel guilty about where he is concerned.

Kelly also revealed that at the time of Jub Jub's arrest she was left feeling "broken."

  •

"I was left confused, hurt and broken. I was a first time mother and I was trying to support a partner who's very abusive both physically and emotionally."

Kelly also revealed that for her Jub Jub does not exist and threatened that he will be greeted by a restraining order upon his release from prison.

It has been reported that Jub Jub will be eligible for parole at the end of 2016.
