What to expect at the National Arts Festival: food galore

The National Arts Festival is possibly one of Grahamstown’s biggest and busiest events. With food stalls, beer gardens, art exhibitions and theater performances, it's an endless tapestry of food and entertainment.

There’s something for everyone, from arts and crafts to family shows and even a few X-rated productions.

There are panel discussions on every thinkable subject at Think!Fest, and live music from South Africa’s greats. With such a large variety of shows it's wise to plan your time accordingly.

Even with the scarcity of water and endless potholes, the Festival offers a smorgasbord of immersive entertainment from the moment you wake up till the late hours of the night.
