It's been a while since DJ Sbu last hosted his own radio show, but when he returned to the mic on Monday morning, it was like he had never left.
The DJ, who was dumped by Metro FM early last year, made his long awaited return on Vuma FM and Rise FM on Monday morning and soon found his show among the most talked about topics on Twitter.
In an triumphant return to radio, DJ Sbu pulled at the heartstrings of listeners as he shared messages of motivation.
He also introduced well-known Wits SRC President Nompendulo Mkhatshwa as his co-host on the show.
The DJ last month revealed his ambitious comeback plan that included his morning breakfast show being broadcast across two radio stations and two TV stations.
And while the radio broadcasts seemed to be a success, DJ Sbu has revealed the date for the TV broadcasts.
