Another day, another feud on AKA's timeline. The rapper has decided to rub salt into the wounds of Hiptonik Music Festival event organisers after they dropped him for a musician that didn't end up pitching for his performance.

Last week, organisers of the Swaziland hip-hop festival announced that they had decided to drop AKA from their line-up, to replace him with Nigerian artist Burna Boy.

But fans at the festival over the weekend were disappointed to find that Burna Boy was still in the UK for his weekend birthday celebrations and was not able to attend.

  •

Something that was not lost on AKA. He took to Twitter following the festival to throw shade.

His tweet spread quickly on the social media site and soon AKA was faced with dozens of angry tweets. In typical AKA style, the rapper clapped back at his critics with some sharp put-downs.

The event's organisers, Swazi Jive, made the decision to drop AKA after the rapper had earlier threatened to pull out of the festival if his logo was not changed on the event's flyers. In a statement, the organisers also claimed that he had made other demands that were beyond that agreed to in his contract. They announced that they had replaced AKA with Burna Boy.

Speaking to TMG Entertainment on Monday, Swazi Jive spokesperson Noxolo Nkabinde confirmed that Burna Boy did not make an appearance at the festival over the weekend and said that they were currently investigating the matter with their booking agents.
