As he prepares for the release of his debut album, rapper Okmalumkoolkat has decided to take a break from Instagram.
The star, who last year discontinued his first Instagram page, told fans of the decision on Monday night, explaining that he would be "going offline again".
He gave no reason for his sudden decision but posted a few pictures after his announcement as a parting gift to fans.
It is understood that the artist is busy finalising his album and has declined press interviews while he puts the finishing touches to the album, so as not to disturb his creative processes.
The good news for fans is that their hero is not completely disappearing from the radar: he has encouraged them to still follow his antics on Facebook and Twitter.
