Zoleka Mandela bravely shows results of chemotherapy

In May Zoleka Mandela confirmed that her battle with cancer was not yet over after discovering a lump on her breast.

She has been undergoing chemotherapy and on Thursday posted a picture on her Instagram account showing her hair loss.

But Zoleka is determined not let it get her down, even posting laughing emoticons in her message on the social media platform.

In the post, Zoleka says that her next chemo treatment is scheduled for 25 July but her body is already seeing the impact of chemotherapy.

"I don't care about going bald, just documenting this so I know exactly how much hair I will lose by the time I've had my 12th treatment."
