Loyiso Gola wants all his fans to know that he's still a funny guy - even though Twitter doesn't seem to believe him.

The comedian was caught in the middle of a social media storm this past weekend when he made a joke about Caster Semenya that didn't sit well with Twitter.

 

Twitter went on the attack questioning why he even saw himself as funny.

Loyiso took to Twitter only hours after the explosive social media backlash to prove his credentials to his haters, telling them he has been cracking jokes for 32 hours in just the last five weeks!

And, as if he hadn't cracked enough jokes about the Olympics, Loyiso seemed to throw one last bit of shade at the event, telling fans that he was glad he no longer had to pretend like he cared about it.

Maybe one day comedy will be an Olympic sport and Loyiso can represent us.
