Bassie who is usually very private when it comes to her children has been sharing some cute moments they've had on social media.
"So I had to harass and bribe uNkosinathi to take pictures of his mother. His retort was 'mommy I hope I marry a girl who does not like pics as you do, but looks after herself as you do'," Bassie said on social media.
The businesswoman said she was left speechless by her son's words. "Lost for words, I just said 'do as your mother tells you...don't get too smart at your young age'. Gabriel is such an intuitive, kind and gracious child!"
In a separate post Bassie added that she is grateful for the special moments she got to share with her children.
"When I'm with them (the tribe) it feels like I am watching my heart walking on two feet. Thank you Lord for these precious gifts! My eldest son (all of 11 yrs old) is almost as tall as his mother."
