When Anga Makubalo is not lighting up our TV screens with his roles on Isidingo and Z'bondiwe, he is making summer hits like Call Out under his stage name NaakMusiq. Where does he get the time to do all that?

TMG Entertainment caught up with Anga, as he puts the finishing touches to his latest album, to grab a glimpse of the genius at work and have a serious heart-to-heart.

Meeting outside an intimate recording studio tucked away in the heart of Johannesburg, Anga greets us with a smile and asks us to follow him to "where all the magic happens."

It is here, and in several other locations across the country, that Anga has been putting the final touches to his latest album, set for release on September 23.

He promises that the much-anticipated album will be show-stopper and, by the sound of the session so far, it's not hard to see why. The track Anga is working on is a catchy RnB -dance song that is guaranteed to get his fans dancing.

"I haven't felt this way about a track since Call Out. You can just tell this one is going to be a hit," he tells his producer.

But music is not the only thing that Anga is working on at the moment. In fact, it's only one of many other projects that make up the complex life and career of Anga Makubalo.

From soapie actor to reality show contestant, Anga certainly has a lot on his plate. But he is surrounded by a number of mentors who inspire and guide him as he reaches for his ultimate dream.

"I always say that impossible is a myth. Many people thought it would be far-fetched for me to dream of where I am right now and yet here I am. My dream was that while I'm driving my dream car, I see myself on billboard, listen to myself on the radio. Get home and see myself in a magazine and watch TV and I'm there. All of that has happened so, really, impossible is a myth," he says.
