There's just no stopping Olympic gold medallist Caster Semenya. Adding to her list of mammoth achievements, the middle-distance runner is now featured on the inside of the Chappies wrapper.

Tied to the childhood memories of many South Africans, the inside of every Chappies wrapper is a list of ‘Did you know?’ facts which used to be read, while sitting cross-legged and chewing on fruity wads of yellow, green or purple gum.

And as it turns out, this is also a memory that Caster shares.

Taking to Facebook, the athlete - who is now featured on the wrapper - recalled a time when she used to read the wrappers, not knowing that she would one day read about herself.

In a picture that she shared, the 'Did you know' fact states: "Caster Semenya was the first black South African woman to win a medal at the Olympic games."

Caster recently gave the world a sterling performance as she broke the national record and breezed through the finish line in the 800m final at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, taking a gold medal.
