South Africa’s leading tribal painter Esther Mahlangu has joined luxury vodka brand Belvedere and American R&B star John Legend to raise money for HIV prevention.

John, who recently joined the fight as the ambassador for Belvedere (RED), collaborated with Esther to design the limited edition bottle for the #MakeADifference campaign using her signature colourful style of her Ndebele tribal art.

John also provided the campaign with a new single, Love Me Now, which urges people to live in the moment because the future is not guaranteed.

The two attended the One Night For Life benefit gala at New York's Apollo Theatre over the weekend where the newly-designed bottle was revealed.

The limited-edition bottle will be available from September at selected retailers and 50% of the profits will go to the Global Fund to fight HIV/Aids in Africa.
