Sunday World has reported that US TV personality and comedian Steve Harvery was left relishing at the sight of actress Phindile Gwala, when the two met in Atlanta, Georgia last month.

According to the local publication, Phindile joined members of a delegation from North Coast Radio, a KwaZulu-Natal, radio station and officials from the local tourism authority, who travelled to America to get an insight on the latest international trends in the radio industry as well as to promote South African tourism.

  •

Sunday World's insiders, who are close to the actress, revealed that, while she was there, she caught the attention of Steve, who insisted that she become his daughter-in-law.

"She was actually telling everyone who cared to know that Harvey did not mind her becoming his daughter-in-law. She said Harvey told her, 'I wouldn't mind hooking you up with my son'," one source said.

  •

Another source reportedly claimed that Steve followed-up with an email to the the North Coast Radio station manager, asserting his proposal for Phindile to become his daughter-in-law.

"It's a case of wait and see what Harvey and his son will do next. The next few days and weeks could change her life completely," the source revealed.

If her Instagram account is anything to go by, Phindile visited the set of Family Feud - an American TV game show where two families compete to win cash and prizes - hosted by Steve.

And here are more snaps from her trip in America...
