TV star Hulisani Ravele says she's a fan of secret weddings so don't be surprised if you wake up one day to find that her and her bae Psyfo have tied-the-knot. And when you do, don't say we didn't tell you so.

Hulisani and her man have been dating for longer than some people have been alive but have always been shy to reveal when they plan to get married.

But speaking to Masechaba Ndlovu on Power FM this week, Hulisani hinted that we might not know about their wedding until after it happens.

Commenting on Masechaba's recent secret wedding ceremony, which was attended by only six of her closest friends and family, Hulisani said: "I want that type of vibe. I'm telling you, one day you'll go on Instagram and I'll be Hulisani Ravele-Ngwenya. Finished. And you'll be like, 'when did this happen?'''.

Hulisani says that the decision to keep much of her relationship out of spotlight was a conscious one.

"My only key has been to share only what I want, and not share. Even with Sipho and I, we don't post that much of each other. But if we are in love let us enjoy," she says.

The pair had been dating for four years before they finally went public with their relationship, and Hulisani says that they had always wanted to do it on their own terms.

"We chose that. It was on our terms. And even when we did it was a big thing," she said.

Hulisani sparked rumours of an upcoming wedding earlier this year when she posted pictures on her social media of herself getting marriage advice from a Venda chief.

But speaking to Destiny shortly after the incident, Hulisani said that she was not preparing for marriage.

"I won’t say that the motivation (for meeting the chief) was because I'm getting married or I’m about to have a baby; that is not what is happening in my life. I’m not about to get married and I’m not about to have a baby. It’s just that I’m getting older. It’s two years to 30 and at that stage I will feel that I’m ready to get married and to have children, and if it happens it happens. But it was not the full motivation, to say, hey, 'I’m getting married next year, so I need to learn about my culture,'" she said.
