Singer Kelly Khumalo has admitted that she considered not having her baby when she discovered she was pregnant with slain soccer star Senzo Meyiwa's baby.

During a recent tell-all interview on Real Talk with Anele, Kelly revealed that she was not keen on having a baby after her controversial relationship with Jub Jub, which hogged headlines before and after the musician's arrest.

Despite the fact that it was the first thing that Senzo wanted from her when the two started dating, the songstress explained that at the time, she felt that she was not in a position to have a baby.

  • Senzo loves me even in his grave, says Kelly Khumalo Songstress Kelly Khumalo held nothing back during a tell-all interview on Real Talk with Anele on Wednesday afternoon.

"The first thing he told me is that he wanted a child with me. And I was like, 'Dude, you don't even know me. How dare you want that with me? And I'm not a place where I want a child. I'm putting myself together. I just came out of a very bad relationship. I'm not in a position to give anyone a child.'"

She further recalled how excited Senzo was upon discovering that she was pregnant with his child, who he had wished to be named 'Sphamandla'.

But Kelly wasn't at all thrilled. She even contemplated getting the pregnancy terminated.

"I was like, 'Dude, I'm not sure if I want to keep this'. I wasn't sure. I was never sure," she told the show's host, Anele Mdoda, before pointing out that God wanted her to keep the baby, which she ultimately did.

"God, somehow said, 'You are having this one. Whether you like it or not. You are having this one.' I had thoughts that I would terminate and stuff like that, because I was at a place where I was not ready. But thing is, God wanted the child, more than I did."
