Popular radio personality DJ Sbu has slammed reports that his alter ego Mzekezeke was involved in an alleged 'drunken brawl' with DJ Warras over the weekend.
According to a source speaking to Daily Sun this week, Mzekezeke apparently caused all kinds of trouble in the VIP section at the Major League Gardens event over the weekend. The star was apparently drunk and got into an altercation with well-known TV personality DJ Warras.
Apparently the altercation got so heated that security had to intervene and the music veteran was carried away by paramedics.
But if it all sounds a little too much like a B-rate movie, it's probably because it apparently never happened.
Speaking to TMG Entertainment on Wednesday, a cheerful DJ Sbu laughed off the reports and said that he had no idea of any altercation between himself (as either DJ Sbu or Mzekezeke) and DJ Warras.
"I didn't get into any kind of altercation with DJ Warras at the event," DJ Sbu told us simply.

The event's organisers have also shot down the rumour, saying that no security incident was reported.
"We are not aware of any incident between any of the guests at the event. Such a serious incident would no doubt be brought to our attention. We have had a full security debriefing and there is nothing in the security reports that mention any scuffle either between the guests or with the guest and security," the organisers told TMG Entertainment on Wednesday.
DJ Sbu has not hosted his Vuma FM breakfast show this week, with music legend Zola standing in for the radio star.
The station's program manager told TMG Entertainment that they had made a decision to schedule Zola due to his relationship with Mandoza and the opportunity it afforded him to pay tribute to his late friend.
