It's fashion season and that means all of South Africa's top designers are giving us a taste of their new collections.
On the top of that list is designer Gert-Johan Coetzee. He added his voice to those in global conservation by dedicating his new collection for SA Fashion Week to Africa's endangered species.
Held at the swanky Four Season The Westcliff Hotel on Wednesday, the fashion elite gathered to see Gert's latest designs.
Presented by Acer, the designer said that the increase in rhino poaching is alarming.
"We have a responsibility to the next generation to preserve our natural heritage. Rhinos are the only animals who need rhino horn, and ivory should only be a colour, not something elephants are slaughtered for,” says Coetzee.
Gert's muse, Bonang Matheba showed off two of the looks on her Instagram page.
Here's more snaps of the collection.
