Lil Wayne opens up about marrying two fellow male inmates while he was behind bars in his hotly-anticipated memoir.
According to Page Six, the retired rapper revealed in his upcoming tell-all prison memoir that he officiated a gay wedding in a makeshift ceremony between two of his fellow male inmates at Rikers Island Prison during his eight-month stay in 2010, stemming from gun charges.
"I got the Bible and I'm like, we gathered here today," he reportedly explains in the book, titled Gone 'Til November.
"We even had a reception, where everybody brought something for the couple."
Wayne continues to paint a vivid portrait of the ceremony, in which he recalls bringing cookies for the newlyweds, while the wedding's attendees decorated the area with tissues. They also celebrated the big day with bottles of Gatorade, which Wayne described as being like "liquid gold" to those locked away at the New York City jail complex.
"Imagine seeing grown-ass men in jail hanging tissue for wedding decorations ... AND one of them is Lil Wayne...Crazy," he wrote in the publication.
Elsewhere in the book, Wayne revealed that fellow rapper Drake apparently stopped by the facility to admit to sleeping with his girlfriend while he incarcerated.
"Drizzy came to see me, he was like, 'Yeah, it's true.' Damn!" Wayne wrote.
"This is the type of s*** a man never wants to find out while he is locked up."
