Actress Pearl Thusi made her much-anticipated debut on US drama series Quantico on Monday night has nothing but appreciation for all the love.
The entire nation joined forces in celebrating the actress on Monday, declaring it #PearlThusiDay.
Fans and celebrities across the country inundated Twitter, which led to the hashtag topping the trends list for hours.
Shortly after making her debut and seeing the amount of love, Pearl returned to Twitter to thank fans.
Pearl added that if she has inspired one person to believe in their dreams then her mission has been accomplished.
"If I've inspired one person with this then it's all the noise I need," she said.
Pearl's bae Robert Marawa also had nothing but pride for his girl.
"You wanted this. You worked damn hard for this. You sacrificed for this. You've been given this. Take this. It's yours. The world gets to celebrate you tonight," Robert said hours before Pearl's debut.
High profile personalities including Terry Pheto, Fikile Mbalula, Khanya Mkangisa and Nandi Madida also joined fans in celebrating Pearl's accomplishment.
