After copious votes from readers, the 2017 Sowetan LIVE Mzansi's Sexiest Top 12 has been decided.
The six women are: Isibaya starlets Wandi C and Linda Mtoba, Wololo hitmaker Babes Wodumo, Rhythm City vixen Ntando Duma, female rapper Nadia Nakai and Muvhango beauty Phindile Gwala.
Wandi C didn't waste time when she received the news. "You know what makes me sexy, I have a great butt. We can't run away from it, it's there. I have that Kim Kardashian thing going on. I can't hide from it anymore."
As for the men, making the cut this year are Vuzu presenters Dash and Shane Eagle, Isibaya hottie Abdul Khoza, Muvhango leading men Lesley Musina and Zwelethu Dube, and Skeem Saam actor Nicholas Nkuna.
"It's dope stuff," said Dash. "I thank the people who voted, I'd love to win."
He said his idea of sexy was somebody comfortable with who they are and successful in what they do. Dash has been hitting the gym lately and "the abs are coming together a little bit".
A surprised Musina said he was "flabbergasted". "It feels absolutely great. Sowetan is part of the landscape of SA history and to be nodded by its readers, I feel honoured."
Dube proudly said: "Zweli oozes and sizzles with fire. That's what makes me sexy."
The Top 12 take part in a sizzling hot calendar shoot in October, with the overall sexiest man and woman announced later in the year. Fans can vote for their sexiest man and woman online right now.
