They may have been involved in one of the pettiest feuds in SA hip-hop last year, but it seems that AKA and Anatii have finally buried their beef deep enough to start working together again.

In fact, they have become so close that AKA is set to perform alongside a host of Anatii's other friends on the rappers Artiifact album launch tour this weekend.

The surprise announcement was made by the rapper on Thursday afternoon, with the Baddest rapper even making an appearance at Anatii's pop-up store in Johannesburg.

And while fans freaked out at the sight of the two together again, AKA took to Twitter to post a picture of the pair together and asked fans if they were "happy now?"

He even labelled their reunion as: “the saga continues"- in reference to the pair's 2015 hit collaboration.

The pair had been the best of buds following that collaboration. But their relationship soon soured when AKA took to a song to claim that Anatii had tried to charge him "R80,000 for a beat".

What followed was a petty spat between the two, with Anatii not only threatening legal action against AKA but also blurring the Baddest rapper's face out of artwork for the pair's collaboration. AKA later showed his dislike for Anatii by giving him a zero rating when asked to rate his favourite artists, in an interview with Metro FM.

When Anatii replaced AKA with his most hated rival (Cassper Nyovest) on live versions of the collaboration, things between the two seemed to be beyond repair.

But time has healed the rift between the two and AKA recently hinted that the pair might be on speaking terms again.
